Traveling to Los Angeles in 2018

Los Angeles just the right destination for those who love sunshine, shopping, and showbiz! It is hard to resist those sandy beaches and superb climate in one of the most dynamic cities of the world. Enjoy the thrills of the Universal Studios or the magical world of Disneyland or explore the boutiques and stores. Los Angeles is a year-round destination like no other as there is plenty going on here all the time. Tourists and travelers love to stay at the luxury houses in Los Angeles that come with the latest amenities and facilities. Stay among the rich and famous, and you are just a short drive away from the primary attractions and high-end boutiques.

Los Angeles was a small city known that was relatively unknown during the 20th century. It was mostly known for its orange groves, oil reserves and vast expanses of land. Gradually, L.A. quickly became popular because of its incredible weather and great location and remarkable nature around. Today, Los Angeles had arrived as an American metropolis and is getting bigger and better. The best time to visit Los Angeles is the summer season when you are guaranteed warm weather and loads of sunshine. The temperatures stay under 30°C, which is just perfect beach weather in summers and the winters are mild with temperatures hovering around 18 °C. It is easy to move around in LA as the transit metro services are speedy and with less of the wait time. You can always hire a car to explore the city attractions but be aware of the traffic jams. Many tourists prefer to bike as it is a bike-friendly city.

LA is a land of soft sandy beaches such as the famous Malibu Beach and Santa Monica Beach. Thus, those who love beaches and are sun-seekers will love being here. Griffith Park, one of the largest urban parks in America welcome millions of visitors every year. Enjoy looking at those unique planetarium shows and scientific exhibitions. Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive are famous for celebrity sightings as well as upscale shopping. Explore the nearby Beverly Gardens for recreation and the gorgeous rose gardens. For those who love sports, they can enjoy baseball team and basketball games. As for the movie buffs, they can check out the stars on Hollywood Boulevard, watch a movie at the Chinese Theater or take snaps of the Hollywood Sign that is simply hard to massif you love music; LA will never disappoint you with the Coachella music and arts festivals.

  • Be here in time for the world famous Los Angeles Philharmonic that is celebrating its 100th season this year. LA Phil 100: Celebrate LA is a free, day-long festival that will have performances by both professionals and amateurs.  The concerts and guest artists are what will add more color to the celebrations. The new attraction in partnership with DreamWorks’ Artists and Universal Creative and DreamWorks’ Artists will take you on a legendary journey. The ED lighting effects and art projection mapping makes for an immersive and awesome experience.
  • Hello Kitty is all set to join Universal Studios Hollywood! The global pop icon with her signature red bow will feature on park-exclusive merchandise including. Shop for apparel, collectibles and other accessories of the exclusive product offerings.
  • King Tut’s tomb will celebrate its 100th anniversary the discovery at the California Science Center. Watch the world premiere of King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh that showcases the largest exhibition on King Tut that has never been displayed internationally. There are more than a hundred authentic artifacts from the celebrated tomb including gilded wood furniture, gold jewelry and many ornate ritual objects that were used by the boy king himself. Get to see those priceless treasures when you travel to LA this year.
  • Los Angeles Auto Show is still a major auto show of the season. Those who love cars would be thrilled to explore the Los Angeles Auto Show that would open to the public this year. Enjoy looking at more than, 000 cars on display and test drives of latest models. Have a look at the latest and newest cars and trucks and make a hassle-free comparison of trucks, SUVs, cars and electric vehicles.
  • The world-renowned Museum Of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles features an outdoor mural that has been designed specifically for the exterior of MOCA Grand Avenue. The museum itself became a canvas for exploring the pattern, intimacy, scale, texture from different perspectives.
  • Snorkeling is an upcoming water sport in LA this year that is fast rising in popularity. You can enroll for a snorkeling Certification Course and apply your new skills. Participants can kayak or dive along scenic cliff sides and snorkel among sea lions. Hotel Figueroa in Downtown L.A.’s Hotel Figueroa is located at the landmark property and has been renovated with $55-millions. It features six bars and restaurants and 268-rooms.
  • The Millennium Biltmore is marking its 95th anniversary in 2018. One of the most popular and most storied hotels in Los Angeles, the grand hotel has a fascinating history that has welcomed presidents, celebrities, and dignitaries. It is an architectural masterpiece that still carries an unmatched elegance even in modern times.
