Trailer teases ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ outbreak, set for summer
During The Walking Dead season 5 finale, AMC aired a very brief Fear the Walking Dead trailer. The upcoming spin-off series takes place in Los Angeles during the initial outbreak.
This trailer teases an outbreak, warns of “flu” symptoms before cutting to a walker staggering towards the camera. Not arriving until summer, Fear the Walking Dead will certainly have many more TV spots and trailers to excite fans.
The cast is led by Kim Dickens (Gone Girl) as a guidance counselor and Cliff Curtis (Sunshine) as a divorced teacher, with Frank Dillane (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) and Alycia Debnam Carey (Into the Storm) filling out the cast.
Dave Erickson serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside The Walking Dead graphic novel creator/series executive producer Robert Kirkman.
