Tom Woods challenges Mark Levin to debate. Will Levin take the challenge?
Historian, professor and best selling author, Tom Woods is asking radio talk show host, Mark Levin to put up or shut up when it comes to nullification, according to You Tube video challenge posted Thursday.

In the video, Woods, the author of the best selling book, Nullification, says Levin has been bashing “conservatives and libertarians who support Thomas Jefferson’s idea of state nullification of unconstitutional federal laws, that maybe the states have a role to play other than just being doormats–that maybe they might be able to resist unconstitutional federal laws.”
Woods claims Levin has been repeating the recycled talking points from Rachel Maddow against state nullification and denouncing proponents of the idea — including Woods, Kevin Gutzman and radio host, Mike Church, and the Tenth Amendment Center. And by implication, Judge Andrew Napolitano, Walter Williams, Barry Goldwater Jr., and others who support the idea.
In the Levin tradition of screeching and name calling he has refered to the above individuals as fringe, crackpots and “neo-Confederates”.
Woods asks Levin listeners if they really want to go there.
Woods recalls a previous debate with Levin over the War Powers Act where Levin resorted to namecalling instead of sound arguments.
Near the end of the video, Woods comes out swinging, “Well if you want to have a battle over credentials, bring it on.
“I don’t think you want to do that. I’m going to take you at your word that you really want to shed light. I propose a debate, we debate the following proposition–“State nullification is a constitutionally legitimate mechanism of resistance against unconstitutional federal laws”.
Woods then says if they can agree on a judge(s) approved of both parties. “If you declared the winner, I will donate $10,000 to your favorite charity. If I am declared the winner, you will donate $10,000 to the Tenth Amendment Center.”
Woods closes, “And Mark, better get your checkbook ready.”
Tell me you don’t want to see that debate. Encourage Mr. Levin to debate, this would be fantastic.
An Educational Page on Nullification for Mark Levin
Will be hard for Levin to win when he’s standing on the wrong side of the issue.
Mark Levin WILL win.
Hope he takes the challenge then.
