Tom Hiddleston reveals interest in directing ‘Thor: The Dark World’
Loki could have easily been behind the camera for a second chapter in the Thor franchise.
While speaking to Empire Magazine, which hit news stands this week, Tom Hiddleston recapped telling Marvel Studios CEO he may be interesting in directing “Thor 2.”
“I did ask, half-jokingly, Kevin Feige about directing ‘Thor 2’ and he said, ‘Do you have something to show me?’ I said no. He said, ‘If you made something and showed me, I might consider it,'” Hiddleston said. “But it’s better for the world that he said no. It would be such a responsibility, but I think I’d enjoy it.”
The British actor has impressed audiences in front of the camera, so helming a project like “Thor: The Dark World” wouldn’t likely scare off any fans.
“Thor: The Dark World” opens in theaters on November 8, 2013.
