TNT’s ‘Dallas’ season 3 teases angry Jordana Brewster, the fire and the August return set

Fans of TNT’s Dallas have gone a while without any news or updates, but the new season 3 teaser sets up the show’s return for August.

Josh henderson dallas-promo-for-second-half-of-season-3The second half of the show’s third season begins with the Ewings dealing wtih John Ross’ cheating scandal, Rebecca’s overdose and the chaos of the love triangle. Emma appears to be appealing to keep their “business relationship” intact as little J.R. is seen kissing Elena.

“Denial, Anger, Acceptance,” all a part of the stages of grief, is the title of the first episode back as “The Ewing family tries to discover who set the fire at the Southfork Ranch.”

Sue Ellen returns to the bottle because of all of the stress of the affair and collapses at Southfork. Bobby and Christopher rush inside to try to rescue anyone trapped, when the ceiling collapses on them, leaving them in mortal danger along with Sue Ellen who is still unconscious on the floor.

Seven new episodes will be coming to TNT with Melinda Clarke (The O.C.) joining the cast as Tracy Lawton beginning with the September 3 episode.

The other remaining episodes are titled: “Dead Reckoning,” “Hurt,” “Victims of Love” followed by “Boxed In,” “Endgame” and the season 3 finale “Brave New World,” which just sounds like a jump to a season 4.

The Dallas reboot stars Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo and Brenda Strong.

The show will be returning on Monday, August 18 at 9/8c with all new episodes.
