‘Titans’ trailer teases dark, gritty, profane new take on ‘Teen Titans’
DC Universe has released the first Titans trailer, a series was developed by Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns, and Akiva Goldsman. The footage made headlines for being dark, gritty and…well, the F- Batman line.

The company has announced that while it launches in fall 2018, fans can go ahead and pre-order your membership now. It will cost $74.99 (plus tax if applicable in your state) for a yearly membership, or you can get it monthly at launch for $7.99/month.
In addition to Titans, DC Universe will play host to other upcoming shows as well as classic DC programming like Batman Beyond, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and the animated Justice League.
This is a gritty take on the Teen Titans franchise, with characters including Dick Grayson/Robin, played by Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales); Rachel Roth/Raven (Teagan Croft), and Garfield Logan/Beast Boy (Ryan Potter). Anna Diop has been cast as Starfire.
Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly suit up as Hank Hall aka Hawk and Dawn Granger aka Dove. Raven’s Father Trigon, one of the most powerful beings in the DC Universe, will be played by Seamus Dever.
Lindsey Gort had been cast as Amy Rohrbach, a detective and “partner” of Robin.
Titans is produced by Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.
