‘Thor The Dark World’ star Jaimie Alexander joins Stan Lee, Bill Paxton for ‘Agents of SHIELD’ appearance
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will feature Thor: The Dark World star Jaimie Alexander in an upcoming episode, reprising her role of Asgardian warrior Lady Sif.
Marvel reports that Alexander will star as Lady Sif in an upcoming episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but no further details are available at this time.
Comic book legend Stan Lee make an appearance on next week’s episode, in which he’s said to have a “big role” and star Bill Paxton will be doing in his four-episode arc as Agent John Garrett.
Described by Jed Whedon as “a rough-and-tumble former cohort of Agent Coulson [Clark Gregg] with a little bit of attitude and cigar-smoking swagger. While Garrett’s comic iteration eventually goes robo-cop after being injured in the line of duty, this version “refused to sit behind a desk and doesn’t like the formalities of S.H.I.E.L.D. He’s going to help Coulson solve some mysteries and is not afraid to rig an explosive or two.”
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs on Tuesdays at 8 PM ET on ABC.
