‘Thor: God of Thunder’ video game to feature Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston
“Thor: God of Thunder” now have some faces to act out their story, and both actors, Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, have been chosen to reprise their roles from next year’s Marvel Studios “Thor” film.
“Bringing in Chris and Tom to star in ‘Thor: God of Thunder’ gives us AAA talent that will create a truly cinematic interactive experience,” Sega Europe and Sega of America senior vice president of marketing Gary Knight said in a press release. “Mighty Thor and the trickster Loki will face off with real emotion while giving fans visual and vocal continuity between the video game and film adaptations of the Marvel franchise.”
Multiplayer Blog says “The game will pool talent from Marvel’s comics as well, with writer Matt Fraction on board as a story consultant. Fraction has become one of the go-to scribes at Marvel in recent years, and he’s already been tested and critically accepted thanks to some solid scripts for the thunder god’s monthly adventures. If you’re already acquainted with the Marvel Universe, you should also recognize Ulik, Ymir and Surtur, who will also be appearing in Sega’s adventure.”
