‘The Walking Dead’ season 6: Andrew Lincoln says they’re facing more zombies than ever before
The Walking Dead sixth season is set to return in just a couple of months and details point to excitement and amazing stories with star Andrew Lincoln discussing the magnitude of the zombie apocalypse.
In an interview by Entertainment Weekly with Lincoln, he praised the masterful the direction Scott M. Gimple, the series showrunner.
“There are more walkers than we’ve ever faced before. I think the storytelling is astonishing. Scott has kind of picked up very much where we left off and he’s spinning 18 principal storylines in an incredibly complicated and cool way,” claimed Lincoln.
The record setting horror drama television series based on the comic book franchise by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard of the same name, follows deputy sheriff, Rick Grimes, as he wakes up after being in a coma for a few months to a zombie-infested world.
Season five centered around the cast members finally finding a safe zone, but that becomes questionable quickly in typical TWD fashion.
“I think there are a couple of episodes this season that are certainly some of the best episodes I’ve read, maybe in a couple of seasons.”
Lincoln heads the cast which includes Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Chandler Riggs, Melissa McBride, Danai Gurira, Sonequa Martin-Green and Lennie James.
The Walking Dead season six would air on Oct. 11, 2015, on AMC.
