‘The Walking Dead’ season 4 preview included in the Independence Day marathon

In addition to the hot dogs, fireworks and celebrations on July Fourth is AMC’s marathon of The Walking Dead.

AMC will be airing Walking Dead episodes between Thursday, July 4 and Sunday, July 7.

This isn’t just a marathon AMC is offering. They’re calling it, “The Walking Dead Season 4 Preview Weekend,” which means, in addition to getting caught up on all three of the zombie series’ seasons, we’ll also get behind-the-scenes footage from the upcoming fourth season.

Smith will speak with the cast and present behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the show, which hopefully means we’ll get some exciting glimpses of what’s being filmed for the series.

There’s the Behind-the-Scenes video that was released, but doesn’t give much away about the plot of the new season or the characters and the photo of Rick in the woods, which is also kind of vague, offers very little.

While AMC has yet to officially confirm that TWD will be back at Comic Con later next month, it’s probably safe to assume that the series (and Robert Kirkman’s comic book on which the series is based) will both be featured at the convention.

As for the episode schedule, AMC has the full schedule listed below. The marathon kicks off Thursday, July 4 at 1:00 p.m. ET/PT on AMC. Season 4 will debut in October, and the Season 3 DVD set is set to release in August
