The Truth of Genesis: Life After Lucifer – Part 2 of 3.
Instead of the phrase “falling away” in 2nd Thess. 2:3-4, it should have been translated as “rebellious stand.”
The rebellious stand by the anti-Christ must come first. Right off the bat, the “pre-trib” teaching is proven false. The two witnesses (Elijah and Enoch) will testify against the anti-Christ for 3 ½ years. They will be killed by the anti-Christ, and then arise from the dead after 84 hours of lying unburied in the street, before being called back to Heaven. This should occur the first evening of the sighting of the renewed Moon, denoting the beginning of the Seventh month, and the Day of Trumpets, in maybe the year 2022 AD.
Both of the witnesses will give their report to the High Priest, which is Yeshua.
It is more than foolish to think that the saints will be raptured to Heaven before the two witnesses. Yeshua would come after receiving and verifying their report, then come to Earth in the clouds with His angels to kill the armies of the anti-Christ, and gather His elect. This should occur after the blowing of trumpets, announcing the beginning of the seventh month called Tishri. I would think that the “pre” and “mid” tribulation believers will be the ones betraying other believers, thinking that there will not be a rapture, or disappointed that they weren’t “taken away before things got too hot”. They would be unprepared for the trial by fire that the saints must go through, and succumb to the mark of the beast.
During the second Temple period, when the renewed Moon was sighted in the evening, two witnesses were chosen to enter into the Temple gates. The High Priest would say “Come up hither”! After their testimony, if the priest was convinced of their report, the order would be given to “Sound the trumpet”! At the end of the sixth month, this qualification was for the moadim called “The Day of Trumpets”! The (new) month of Tishiri had begun.
The temple in Jerusalem will be rebuilt, and the anti-Christ will desecrate it, and declare himself to be “god”. Both Elijah and Enoch will be overcome and killed by the anti-Christ, after their 3 ½ year testimony is finished. Their bodies will not be buried. Revelation chapter eleven says that their bodies will lie in the street for 3 ½ days. Yet the rest of the narrative sounds like the moadim of the Day of Trumpets, and the beginning of the First Resurrection. The moadim of the Day of Trumpets is the only feast that occurs “on a day that no man knows”. We don’t know if it is going to be 29 days after the start of the sixth month, or if it will be 30 days. That’s why everyone just has to “wait and be ready”.
