The Chopard 201-Carat Watch

Valued at $25 million, this magnificent Chopard watch boasts of being made of 874 stunning diamonds in total. Surrounding the watch face in the center are three very large heart-shaped diamonds in pink (15 carats), blue (12 carats), and white (11 carats).

The three heart diamonds are set in a bracelet made of clusters of white diamonds that are pear-shaped and arranged into exquisite flowers with a yellow diamond in the center of each flower. The total carat weight of the white and yellow diamonds amount to 163 carats, and the whole watch contains a total carat weight of 201 carats.

It gets even better. A spring-loaded mechanism in the watch makes the three heart-shaped diamonds in the center move apart and open to reveal the watch face. The heart diamonds remind you of flower petals that open up beautifully in the sun. The watch face is beautiful in itself, being made of small round pavé yellow diamonds. This Chopard is definitely one piece of jewelry to watch out for!

Hutton-Mdivani Jadeite Necklace

This classic Cartier necklace is made of twenty-seven magnificent graduated emerald green jadeite beads that are famous for being highly translucent. Its precious clasp is made of rubies and baguette diamonds set in platinum and gold.

The necklace was sold at an auction in 2014 for a whopping $27.4 million. This heirloom necklace has a very interesting story. It was originally owned by Barbara Hutton, a rich lady who was heiress to the Woolworth estate and then she passed it on to her ex-sister-in-law, Princess Nina Mdivani. Both ladies were famous for leading very luxurious lifestyles.

The Graff Pink

This very rare dazzling pink diamond broke auction sales records when it sold for a hefty $46.2 million in 2010. The rectangular-cut pink diamond with elegantly round corners is 24.78 carats and is set in a ring of platinum and flanked on both sides by Graff diamonds in the shape of shields. Originally owned by jeweler Harry Winston, Laurence Graff took home this grand pink diamond after he won against three other bidders.

The grand pink diamond was assessed by the Gemological Institute of America as a Fancy Intense Pink color of VVS2 clarity. When Mr Graff let his master cutters work on the diamond, they transformed the diamond into a GIA-certified Fancy Vivid Pink diamond of Internally Flawless (IF) color. This feat is truly mind-blowing because they were able to achieve this even if they only shaved less than a carat off the gem’s original total weight!

Literally, the Graff Pink is nearly perfect and belongs in a category all on its own.

The Blue Moon of Josephine

Because of their rarity, blue diamonds are the most expensive ones. In 2015, a Hong Kong billionaire tycoon named Joseph Lau acquired this resplendent 12.03-carat blue diamond ring for a dizzying $48.4 million. Lau then called the stone the Blue Moon of Josephine after his seven-year-old daughter.

This dazzling Blue Moon diamond ring was found in 2014 in South Africa’s Cullinan mine and is classified as the largest cushion-shaped blue diamond in the Fancy Vivid category.

L’Incomparable Diamond Necklace

The fascinating L’Incomparable diamond necklace was created by jeweler Mouawad and is touted as the world’s most expensive necklace by the Guinness World Record. Its value is currently estimated at $55 million.

As its pendant, this necklace has a 407.48-carat deep yellow diamond that has been assessed as the most Internally Flawless (IF) diamond in the world. The pendant is surrounded by 230 carats of smaller white diamonds in different shapes: 35 round, 27 pear-shaped, 9 heart-shaped, 5 emerald-cut, 5 cushion, 4 oval, 3 Asscher-cut, and 2 radiant diamonds. The delicate white diamonds are set in an exquisite leaf pattern around the large pendant.

The deep yellow diamond of the L’Incomparable was found surreptitiously in a mining rubble by a little girl in the Democratic Republic of Congo way back in the 1980s. The young girl’s identity is unknown though.

These are but a few of the world’s most expensive and magnificent jewelry. If you are on the lookout for beautiful jewelry at affordable prices, check out promise ring store for exquisite pieces that are personalized and will leave a priceless memorable impression on your loved one.
