‘The Legal Wife’ star, Angel Locsin hospitalized briefly for allergies, now resting at home

There was a call for prayers for the award winning actress earlier as it was announced that  Angel Locsin was hospitalized briefly due to an allergy, according to a posting on her official Facebook page today.

The post says, “Angel Locsin is currently confined in a private hospital due to an allergy which she had taken for granted for a time in fear of doctors and hospitals.”

Locsin notes that she finally listened to the advice of friends and saw an allergy expert after determining that “self-medicating” wasn’t going to help.

The post reveals that the source of the Angel’s allergy is a viral infection. The infection, in conjunction with her heavy workload, has left her weak and tired. She has been prescribed an anti-viral treatment for her ailment.

It was posted just hours ago that Ms. Locsin is now resting at home.

Locsin was concerned that the taping of her new TV series, “The Legal Wife”, would be delayed; however, doctors say after this treatment, her allergies should not reoccur.

The Legal Wife which marks Angel’s first team-up with Jericho Rosales is set to be aired early of January 2014. It is directed by Rory Quintos which includes and also stars Maja Salvador, JC de Vera, Mark Gil, Bernard Palanca, Odette Khan, Maria Isabel Lopez, Rio Locsin, and Christopher de Leon.

Angel Locsin is also calendared to make a horror-suspense-comedy movie with Vhong Navarro and Bb. Joyce Bernal.
