‘The Flash’ teaser highlights Grant Gustin running at lightning speed and attitude
Comic book fans got a treat as the new teaser for The Flash debuted durng the latter half of Arrow‘s season-two finale. The promo was the first time viewers got to see Barry Allen (Glee’s Grant Gustin) after he fell into a coma at the end of a two-episode appearance in November.

Stephen Amell (as Green Arrow) shoots the arrow to Gustin. As The Flash he catches it in the knick of time. “Show-off,” scoffs the Arrow as The Flash celebrates in the distance.
Barry was struck by lightning at the end of his Arrow arc, transitioning him into the superhero known as The Flash. Though he has not appeared in any other Arrow episodes, he has been mentioned along with other members of S.T.A.R. Labs: bioengineering expert Caitlin, played by Danielle Panabaker, and mechanical engineering genius Cisco, played by Carlos Valdes, appeared in episode 19. Both are set to be a part of The Flash series.
The Flash also stars Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells, Candice Batton as Iris West, daughter to Jesse L. Martin’s Detective West, who is a mentor to the young Barry Allen.
Carlos Valdes stars as Cisco Ramon, better known as DC character Vibe with The Vampire Diaries star Rick Cosnett set to portray Central City Police transfer Detective Eddie Thawne, while Danielle Panabaker plays Caitlin Snow, a highly intelligent bioengineering expert and an early incarnation of DC villain Killer Frost. Patrick Sabongui and Michelle Harrison also star with the original Flash star John Wesley Shipp will also appear in an undisclosed role as well.
