‘The Flash’ season 3: Dr Alchemy’s identity revealed, Savitar introduced
As many fans predicted, Tom Felton’s Julian Albert is indeed Dr. Alchemy on The Flash.
The CW series threw a couple of very interesting twists at their audience: adding the fact that he’s serving Savitar – the God of Speed – but doing so somewhat reluctantly.
One of the comic book versions of Alchemy had a split personality, therefore the inspiration for the role as he alternates between the law abiding CSI and being the villain intent on restoring people to their Flashpoint personas.
The Flash will leave fans on a bit of cliffhanger as the CW crossover begins next week.
CBM notes that “Alchemy is definitely an intriguing foe for the Fastest Man Alive” and is hopeful that Felton’s character is more than just a fill in villain.
The show deals with the shift of Caitlin to Killer Frost.
EW notes “Danielle Panabaker and Carlos Valdes were particularly strong, especially Valdes in his final scene with Barry when he tells him that he’s not sure they will ever be alright again. My other favorite moment of the episode was when Cisco cut Caitlin’s apology off with a hug, which was quite touching. That being said, I’m still hung up on how Caitlin went from the Caitlin we knew to this evil being.”
