Texas Right to Life details their LifeFirst Freedom Fest, in Dallas this weekend, Houston on July 7

On June 30, 2018, Texas Right to Life will host the Inaugural North Texas Y’ALL #LifeFirst Freedom Fest in Dallas.  The following week, on July 7, Texas Right to Life will host the Third Annual Y’ALL #LifeFirst Freedom Fest in Houston.

The events, open to adults in their 20s and 30s, will bring together Pro-Life young professionals for a celebration of our many freedoms, first and foremost, the Right to Life.  As Americans mark the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, Pro-Life Texans celebrate the many freedoms recognized by our nation.  Without the Right to Life, none of these freedoms would be possible.  While we celebrate, we also work toward ensuring that all people in the Lone Star State have the Right to Life from conception to natural death.

Texas Right to Life started Y’ALL, the Young Adult Life Link, in 2016 to connect Pro-Life young people through networking events, service opportunities, and political engagement.  Throughout the year, Texas Right to Life provides service projects and social events for young Pro-Lifers that offer an inside look at the work Texas Right to Life accomplishes across our state.  With a growing supporter base in North Texas, adding a Y’ALL #LifeFirst Freedom Fest in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex was a natural development and the day is expected to draw new and returning young supporters.

The Dallas event on June 30 will take place at Grimaldi’s Pizza from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. On July 7, the Houston event will be held at Star Pizza from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  Interested young adults can RSVP on the Texas Right to Life website for the Dallas or Houston events.

Adults in their 20s and 30s have stronger Pro-Life convictions than previous generations, and their active engagement is instrumental in growing the Culture of Life in Texas.  Texas Right to Life eagerly anticipates celebrating with members of Y’ALL and planning the next steps of the Pro-Life movement in Texas.

Founded in 1973, Texas Right to Life is the oldest and largest Pro-Life organization in Texas. Recognized as the statewide leader of the Pro-Life movement in Texas, Texas Right to Life works through legislation and education to protect the rights of the unborn, persons with disabilities, the sick, the elderly, and the vulnerable through legal, peaceful, and prayerful means.
