Texas: Missing woman Angela Morris identified as body found in woods, being treated as a homicide
Austin police have confirmed a missing woman is the body found in some woods on Sunday, ending a missing persons investigation.
Angela Morris’ body was found behind a business complex near the 5900 block of West Courtyard Drive around 5:52 a.m. According to her partner, Andi Davies, that is the street where the couple had a flat tire.
Davies, who is disabled, spoke to the American-Statesman, stayed behind while Morris walked off to get their lug nut key
Authorities say they are investigating the circumstances of the death and sorting through tips called in since Morris disappeared.
An official cause of death has not yet been determined. The Travis County medical examiner’s office are investigating and will perform an autopsy.
