Terrorist Willem Van Spronsen firebombs ICE detention center, gets killed by police, media ‘ignore’ Antifa ties

This is a few examples of the headline from the mainstream press:

The Guardian: “Man dies as police shootout follows firebomb attack on immigration centre”

“69-year-old ‘anarchist’ shot, killed after attacking Washington migrant detention center” by the USA Today is the story you land one when you click the Google search entry of “Willem Van Spronsen killed in Tacoma detention center shooting” – Yes, I don’t have to exaggerate. They never mention Antifa once in their coverage.

Van Spronsen threw “incendiary devices,” aka fire bombs, at the facility, a privately run prison, attempting to ignite the large propane tank outside the building.

The Tacoma Northwest Detention Center, has served as a holding facility for migrants as they are about to be deported and more recently, home to the parents separated from their children under President Trump “zero tolerance” enforcement of the Obama era policy towards illegal immigrants.

Police said officers called out to Van Spronsen, and shots were fired, resulting in the death of the anarchist.

A longtime friend of the terrorist, Deb Bartley, told The Seattle Times she and others had received letters from him which read “just saying goodbye” along with what she described as a manifesto.

2020 presidential candidate and Washington Gov. Jay Inslee connected Trump to the attack. “Along with many Americans, I object with every fiber of my being to Donald Trump’s inhumane treatment of immigrants in America,” he tweeted. “But violence is not acceptable. We must be better and seek non-violent ways of pursuing the better world we want, as many groups are doing.”

One Antifa account called RevAbolitionMov with nearly 3,000 followers wrote, “RIP to anarchist fighter Willem Van Spronsen. The attack on the [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] facility in Tacoma is a proportionate action against enslavers and internment camp operators. He joins a long list of fallen anarchist martyrs who fought for a liberated world!”
