Tennessee shooting: Jackie Ingram, Derrick Brown, Nathan Bean charged in Adam Johnson murder
Three people have been arrested in a fatal shooting of Adam Johnson at Springbrook Apartments in Cleveland, Tenn. last month.
The Cleveland Police Department stated in a news release that Jackie Ingram, 22; Nathan Bean, 18; and Derrick Brown, 18, have been charged with first-degree felony murder and are the suspected of being accomplices of Adam Johnson, 18, who was killed Dec. 12 during a home invasion at an apartment on Blackburn Road.
Sgt. Evie West said that other charges are pending and the case remains under investigation as officials work to identify others who may have been connected to or involved in the crime.
In mid-December, police arrived at the 2300 block of Blackburn Road at Springbrook Apartments just after midnight and found Johnson dead on the scene.
West explained then that three people, identified as Johnson and at least one other male all forced their way into the apartment while armed with handguns.
“In this case it does appear that Adam Johnson, Nathan bean, Jackie Ingram and Derrick brown were suspects committed to committing a violent crime at that apartment,” Sgt. West now explained.
