Tampa: Steven Alvin Tack arrested for stealing wallet from man in wheelchair thanks to Crime Stoppers tip

In August,  Tampa Police Detectives asked the public for help in identifying a man who swiped a wallet out of the pocket of a man in a wheelchair (see video).

This week, thanks to a tip sent in to Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay, police arrested 28-year old Steven Alvin Tack (aka Steven Alvin CAMPBELL).

While in custody, Tack was found in possession of several credit cards embossed with the name “Steven Campbell”. After further investigation, it was determined that Tack had three active arrest warrants under the last name Campbell.

Tack was taken to Orient Road Jail where, along with the robbery charge, he faces an additional 12 counts of False Information to a Pawn Broker, 11 counts of Dealing in Stolen property, and 1 count of Grand Theft.
