Tajuanna Davis, Gerard Jimerson identified as Illinois couple dead in apparent murder suicide
Police say a couple in their 30s found shot to death in their home in Park Forest, Illinois appear to be victims of a murder-suicide.

Relatives had heard Tajuanna Davis, age 32, and her husband Gerard Jimerson, age 33, arguing before shots were fired according to police.
According to the medical examiner’s office their daughter found the couple in their bedroom, both dead of apparent gunshot wounds.
“Based upon early investigation, [the shooting] appears to be a murder-suicide,” police said in a release.
The two were pronounced dead at the scene at 1:48 a.m.
Illinois State Police and the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force were assisting in the investigation.
Autopsies were scheduled for Monday afternoon.

In the Yahoo News report, “There were 500 murders in Chicago last year (2012), the FBI said, surpassing New York City, which had 419.”
