In addition to the cute costumes, employees at this McDonalds call each customer “mentor” or “senior” and give them a salute, regardless of their age.

The cosplay promotion is McDonalds Taiwan’s way of counting down to the New Year. They say that all stores in the country will be participating in the cosplay promotion on December 31.

According to Rocket 24, this is not the first time that Taiwan McDonalds has done such a publicity act. Recently they reported the fast food chain’s workers donned cute pink-maid outfits to serve customers and called them “master”.

On YouTube, the comments kinda went like this:

“Taiwan McDonald’s is where I’m headed” , “It’s better than McDonalds in Japan”, and the ultimate question, “Maids, flight attendants, sailors, what to wear next ..?”
