‘Survivor’ star Malcolm Freberg previews docu-series ‘Wayfaring’

Wayfaring was billed as a “first-of-its-kind docu-series event” starring Survivor alum Malcolm Freberg taking a film crew around the US led by the votes of social media. Freberg won us over in the intriguing and unique interview with The Global Dispatch, promoting the Kickstarter campaign as the event begins July 1st.
Freberg was popular figure from Survivor: Philippines and Survivor: Caramoan and now begins Wayfaring, which he as “an event…like a “Choose Your Own Adventure.”
The description works once you understand that Wayfaring will be an interactive experience. The team has partnered with Zoomph, a Social Media Engagement Platform, to present a daily poll to move Freberg from city to city and choose the activities on his twenty day journey.
Freberg will make a complete a twenty-day loop of the country, ending back in southern California on July 20th. Each episode, “expected to be 8-10 minutes” will be posted the following morning to re-engage fans for each and every day.
Of course, the interview had to include some Survivor reflections and he offers some advice for future players. We have a ton of laughs and Malcolm will forever be known on The Dispatch as the “gangly buccaneer.”
