Steven Massof, med student who aided abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell, plea bargains to murder charges

Kermit Gosnell’s Women’s Medical Society abortion facility in West Philadelphia has been described as the “House of Horrors” and now one of the med students who aided Gosnell has been sentenced for his role in murdering babies at the clinic.

Steven Massof, age 51, learned his fate this week after pleading guilty to two counts of third-degree murder in a plea bargain to testify against Gosnell. Massof will serve six to 12 years in prison for his role in the killing of two babies born alive at the clinic.

Gosnell’s clinic was performing illegal late-term abortion clinic and writing illegal prescriptions for narcotics.

Massof testified last April that when multiple women were at the clinic for late-term abortions and were given drugs to induce contractions “it would rain fetuses.”

Massof testified directly in relationship to “Baby G” saying that he saw exhibit “a respiratory excursion,” meaning a breath.

“According to Massof, Gosnell then ‘snipped the cervical part of the vertebra,’” the grand jury report stated.

Massof, an unlicensed medical school graduate, gave shocking testimony concerning the inner workings of Gosnell’s shoddy abortion business.  He described a chaotic office where conditions continuously degraded over the nine years he worked there.

Massof began “helping move patients around” from one area of the clinic to the next.  Later he began doing first trimester procedures and eventually took on the “second tris,” testifying that he saw over 100 babies born alive who had their necks snipped in what he said was “literally a beheading. It is separating the brain from the body.”
