‘Solo’ trailer, poster sets up thrills, Alden Ehrenreich’s Han Solo ‘getting his shot’
Disney and Lucasfilm have just released the official theatrical trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story, featuring tons of action-packed new footage as Han Solo finally…well, gets his shot.
Debuting during the broadcast of American Idol, showcases a young Han (Alden Ehrenreich) taking his first step to becoming the legendary smuggler fans know and love.
Also seen in the trailer is the amazing cast: Woody Harrelson (Venom, War for the Planet of the Apes, True Detective), Emilia Clarke (Terminator Genisys, Game of Thrones), Donald Glover (The Martian, Atlanta), Thandie Newton (Westworld), Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), Joonas Suotamo (Star Wars: The Last Jedi), and Paul Bettany (Avengers: Infinity War).
Director Ron Howard takes over the delayed project, bringing it to the Cannes Film Festival on May 15th and then theaters May 25, 2018.

Synopsis: Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy.
