The first official sneak peek for the brand-new season of Sleepy Hollow introduces Ichabod Crane’s (Tom Mison) new partner as the resurrected historical figure will attempt to start a new life in Washington D.C.
Season four picks up after the death of fellow Witness and partner, Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) as Ichabod will face a new set of supernatural enemies in the new city. Agent Diana Thomas (Janina Gavankar), who refuses to believe that otherworldly beings exist, appears to be an early version of Abbie, conflicting over facts and the unexplainable.
Others joining in the new season are Alex Norwood (Rachel Melvin) as well as Jake Wells (Jerry MacKinnon) as allies, as well as a tech mogul named Malcolm Dreyfuss (Jeremy Davies).
The premiere episode of “Sleepy Hollow” season 4 will be called “Columbia” will air on FOX on Friday, Jan. 6. It will unveil the events that happened in Ichabod’s life after he left New York’s Sleepy Hollow.
This is the synopsis for the premiere episode: “In the Season 4 premiere, Crane and Jenny begin to navigate life following the unexpected death of Abbie Mills. When he finds himself in the nation’s capital, Crane must forge unlikely partnerships in his quest to find the next Witness, as he discovers that there is more evil at play than he realized was possible.”
Lyndie Greenwood will also reprise her role as Abbie’s sister Jenny Mills, while John Noble is also rumored to return as Ichabod’s late son Jeremy.
