‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 coming in 2014, Katia Winter talks pilot, Tom Mison and ‘chemistry’
TV’s latest hit show, Sleepy Hollow, will move into its second season later this year. Star Katia Winter looks ahead during an interview with Digital Spy, but first reflected on reading the pilot.
“I read the first episode and I thought… Oh God, either this is going to be really good or really s**t!”
Winter laughs, adding “It was so bonkers and so crazy! I thought, ‘I’m just going to see what happens’, and after watching the pilot, I thought, ‘OK, anything is possible!’ Since then, they’ve taken it a lot further and it’s never disappointed me.”
No one could have expected the Fox show to debut with over 10 million viewers, the highest rated fall drama debut in six years.
“It was kind of shocking actually,” admits Winter – who plays Katrina, secret witch and beloved wife of the show’s lead Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison). “I was amazed and pleasantly surprised that it did so well across the board.”
Winter’s character has been torn apart from her husband, trapped in a limbo (purgatory) as she can only communicate with her lost love periodically through mystical visions.
“They have such great chemistry so I get why people are rooting for that,” Winter submits. “But there’s not that much time for romance – there’s a war coming to Sleepy Hollow!”

I LOVE SLEEPY HOLLOW!!!!!!!!
please when will the season 2 be out?
I am impressed with the story line in the fact of historical events not altered. The stories themselves are ok, nothing to write home about, in standing on history there is more depth to your story line. Question are you going to have a history grading contest, for your audience members in school? If so teaching American history seems interesting and a depth for those who get nothing from history classes but untrue history.
