Shooting on ‘Blood Ransom’ ends today as Anne Curtis heads back to ‘Showtime’
By now everyone is aware of what was once Filipina-Australian actress, Anne Curtis’ secret of why she was in Hollywood. The Kapamilya star let the cat out of the bag earlier in the month that she was temporarily leaving her role on It’s Showtime to work on a film in America.
Anne, of course was making her Hollywood debut filming “Blood Ransom”, a film by by Fil-Am Francis dela Torre.
The film, which is due to be released in 2013, also stars Emily Skinner and Alexander Doetsch.
According to BW Entertainment:
“The story of Blood Ransom starts when Jeremiah, a Filipino immigrant hiding in America from his past, is forced into a plot to kidnap Crystal (Anne), his American boss’ beautiful young girlfriend, the plot goes terribly wrong when Jeremiah’s accomplices botch up the simple plan… Jeremiah and Crystal begin a dangerous love affair on the run. As the danger hurtles forward, Jeremiah and Crystal’s love growing with every hour they’re together, a darker deeper secret burns within Crystal.”
Anne Curtis is set to wrap up her scenes today according to a tweet Thursday- “3 last days of shooting for Blood Ransom. starting to get sad… I will miss everyone!!!”
She is expected to return to Showtime on Tuesday.
