‘SHIELD’ TV series wraps production on pilot
Production has finally finished on the pilot of “S.H.I.E.L.D.,” which means it’s off to the editing bay for showrunners Maurissa Tancharoen and Jed Whedon.
Tancharoen announced the exciting news with the above picture on her Instagram. “That’s a wrap. #SHIELD,” she posted.
The “S.H.I.E.L.D.” pilot sees the return of Clark Gregg to the role of Agent Phil Coulson, the beloved agent thought dead during the events of “Marvel’s The Avengers.” He’s joined by a large supporting cast including the likes of Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May. “Avengers” director Joss Whedon co-wrote the pilot and is directing as well.
There’s no word on when the pilot will be completed or available for viewing.
