Sheldon and Amy make kiss more says Mayim Bialik, discussing ‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7
Fans are mixed on the Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy kiss which rocked the couple and the popular sitcom: The Big Bang Theory.
Mayim Bialik, the actress who plays Amy, visited TODAY Monday and hinted that the Valentine’s Day smooch might not be the only kiss for the awkward, science geeks.
“There may be more,” she teased, before adding a fan-frustrating “who knows?” to that statement.
The big kiss delivered big ratings, a new high for season 7, but creators say fans may have to wait a bit for another intimate moment – read that story here
The interview covers a lot of ground Bialik, who first became a household name when she landed the title role in the series, Blossom, in 1991. Back then, it was a much different business for teens.
“In the ’90s, when I was on ‘Blossom’ from the ages of 14-19, the industry was very different for teenagers — there wasn’t the Internet; there wasn’t this whole kind of publicity machine. … I think that’s really one of the big differences I’ve seen. Now we have all that pressure for teenagers to look like women, and the model for women seems to be … thin, thin, thin.”
