‘Shazam’ tease: Dr Sivana flies, lots of effects as the hero tries to buy beer and a secret lair
During the recent NFL game, Warner Bros. debuted a new sneak peek at the David F. Sandberg-directed Shazam!, which stars Zachary Levi in the title role.
The short TV spot and the new extended sneak peek features tons of new footage as the titular hero does his best to save the day while battling Dr. Sivana (Mark Strong). In fact, it’s the first footage to really see Sivana fly.
During a lighter moment, the adult Billy Batson tries to buy beer, and he and Freddy (Jack Dylan Grazer) try to find him a superhero lair. Check out the teaser below.
Shazam! also stars Asher Angel as William “Billy” Batson, Grace Fulton as Mary Bromfield, Ian Chen as Eugene Choi, Jovan Armand as Pedro Peña, Faithe Herman as Darla Dudley, Cooper Andrews as Victor Vasquez, Marta Milans as Rosa Vasquez, Djimon Hounsou as Shazam (The Wizard while Lotta Losten, Ross Butler, Roger Davies all play undisclosed roles.
Shazam! arrives in theaters on April 5
