‘Shameless’ season 4: Gallagher family chaos sets up ‘biggest change’ says exec
The Gallagher family was left in chaos after the season 3 finale of Shameless as the characters dispersed for winter. Check out the full trailer below.
”The biggest change is who’s living in the house on a full-time basis,” exec producer Mark Mylod said while talking with Entertainment Weekly.
EW notes the status as fans left season 3
“Expect a shake-up as we find Lip (Jeremy Allen White) struggling with college life, Frank (William H Macy) scheming to avoid facing his mortality, Ian (Cameron Monaghan) heading into the army, and Fiona (Emmy Rossum) living large with her office job. Plus, we’ll meet Debbie’s (Emma Kenney) shocking first boyfriend and at least one new Gallagher family member who will affect the tight-knit clan.
Season 4 added a couple of new cast members.
Former The Walking Dead actor James Allen McCune, who played Beth’s boyfriend Jimmy in the second season of AMC’s hit, and See Dad Run actress Danika Yarosh have joined the Showtime drama in recurring capacities.
McCune reportedly will play Matt, appearing in multiple episodes. Matt is a shy, sweet, inexperienced 20-year-old who takes a shine to Debbie (Kenney), who may end up being far more grown up than he is.
