Priyanka Chopra’s dad, Dr. Ashok Chopra passed away after a prolonged battle with cancer at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital on Monday, June 10. He was 62.
Priyanka who was extremely close to her father had taken time off her busy schedule to be with her dad for over a fortnight.
The actress was extremely close to her dad. The feelings were evident – from her pictures, messages, statements and even her tattoo, which read, “Daddy’s little girl.”
Friend and co-star Shah Rukh Khan was seen present by her side at the cremation ground. Also present were co-actor Shahid Kapoor, Uday Chopra, Kunal Kohli, Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Sonali Bendre, among others.
