SeaWorld kicks off ‘Praise Wave’ with Lecrae, Colton Dixon
Award-winning singers Lecrae and Colton Dixon (pictured) will be the first artists appearing Saturday in SeaWorld Orlando’s new Praise Wave music series. The event, which continues the following two Saturdays, will have a designated area along Bayside Pathway with cookout-style food, SeaWorld characters and popular Christian music.
Lecrae’s seventh studio album, “Anomaly,” debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 Album Chart and also hit No. 1 on the Digital Album, Rap Album, Christian Album and Gospel Album charts.
Dixon, a former “American Idol” finalist, has had two chart-topping albums, “Anchor” and “A Messenger.”
Steven Curtis Chapman is set for the following weekend, Feb. 21.
Event festivities will begin at 1 p.m. and this area will operate until 7 p.m.
The concerts are included in regular SeaWorld admission. Upgraded and reserve seating, as well as premium seats on the floor, are also available, more info HERE

Please reconsider this event. I am a Christian and I recently became aware of how cruel it is to keep cetaceans such as dolphins and orcas in captivity. I have always loved aquariums and now find myself not wanting to support or buy a ticket as long as they hold these intelligent mammals captive. Please take the time to watch the documentaries Blackfish and The Cove. Please please please reconsider. I had been ignorant for so long on these issues and now I find myself wanting to get involved in their release.
