Sean Hannity and John Bolton talk about bombing Iran
With so much of news out of the Middle East surrounding the demonstrations in Egypt, Former UN Ambassador and possible presidential candidate, John Bolton has found yet another reason to put the Israelis on a timetable of sorts with the bombing of Iran.
Bombing Iran is an infatuation with neocon John Bolton and his bloodlust for war with them just can’t seem to be quenched.
You may remember last August, Bolton put the Israelis on a timetable of 8 days to strike the Bushehr nuclear power facility and if they didn’t, it would be an opportunity lost.
Well the war drums of Bolton are beating loudly again. Now his reasoning for the attack of Iran revolves around Mohamed El Baradei, Hosni Mubarak’s possible successor.
Bolton and fellow neocon Sean Hannity go back and forth about El Baradei and Israel’s necessary response:
Hannity: “As you pointed out, El Baradei ran cover for the Iranians for all those years that he was with the IAEA. And, I just don’t think the Israelis have much longer to wait… they’re going to have to act in fairly short order.”
Bolton: “I think that’s right,” Bolton responded. “I don’t think there’s much time to act. And I think the fall of an Egyptian government committed to the peace agreement will almost certainly speed that timetable up.”
American Conservative writer Philip Giraldi once told me: “Attacking a country on suspicion that they might do something is completely unacceptable. All credible evidence suggests that Iran does not have a weapons program at the present time.”
