Scarlett Johansson talks ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier,’ losing the catsuit
In issue 217 of Total Film magazine, Scarlett Johansson reveals that Captain America: The Winter Soldier is going to shake things up for the Black Widow.
Johansson discusses the differences between the first film and the sequel, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.
“I don’t spent a lot of time in my catsuit in this one,” she says. “I take it to the streets in a different way.”
Co-star Chris Evans discussed the conflict with S.H.I.E.L.D. and Samuel L. Jackson how the need for security has drifted into fearmongering.
“There’s a real kind of Big Brother aspect to this film. All that Cap and Widow know to be true, everything that they trust in – as much as they trust in anything – is sort of ripped out from underneath them,” Johansson says here to Total Film.
