‘Saving Mr Banks’ star Tom Hanks unsure if ‘Toy Story 4’ or another Dan Brown film will happen
While promoting his role in the upcoming film Saving Mr Banks, Tom Hanks has to address questions if he will return to the Toy Story franchise or reprise the role of Robert Langdon from the Dan Brown novels.
“I don’t know. That is like corporate level.” “I don’t know. That is like corporate level.””I don’t know. That is lie corporate level,” says Hanks to The Herald Scotland when asked about Toy Story 4 or a follow-up to Da Vinci Code or Angels and Demons.
For now the Apollo 13 is playing Walt Disney himself and is actively promoting the film centered on the challenge to bring Mary Poppins to the big screen.
“He was a businessman, at the end of the day,” says Hanks.
“For all the whimsy that goes into it, and all the true specialness that he thought was the potential of Mary Poppins, he wanted to make a movie because he had a lot of money sunk into the rights.”
Hanks discusses Disney’s smoking, rolling the dice with business decisions and spending time with his daughter to get “it” right.
