Sarah Palin’s endorsement of Trump: Can we now stop calling her a ‘voice’ of the Tea Party?

People close to me heard me rail against Sarah Palin’s Tea Party cred for years, much like I have against other frauds like Sean Hannity and Marco Rubio.

She has a history of being a neoconservative (HERE and HERE), despite talk of the contrary yesterday, a globalist and a proponent of bank bailouts.

Her words and record have always been a convoluted mess, much like her much publicized speech on Tuesday. I recognized this long before the entertaining but oft-wishy-washy Glenn Beck.

She, in my view, was never a “voice” of the Tea Party, the small government movement that began 7-8 years ago or so. However, many would have disagreed with me.

Hopefully, this puts an end to this folly. I mean the Donald J. Trump endorsement.

Palin says, “Finally. Pro-Constitution, common-sense solutions that he brings to the table”. Really Mrs Palin—examples please…

She later says, “The issues important to me, or I wouldn’t be endorsing him, pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, strict constitutionality.” Again, Really?

Palin is so clueless that she doesn’t even realize she is supporting an authoritarian, a populist and a left wing then right wing progressive who has little regard for the Constitution with the exception of spouting out “I love the Constitution” in a cartoonish fashion.

Unfortunately, the Tea Party is merely a shell of it’s former self after the Fox News hijacking which included Gov Palin.

Hopefully, this endorsement will finally close the Sarah Palin Tea Party chapter of a once powerful and relevant conservative movement.
