Ryan Reynolds, ‘Deadpool’ to film
Reynolds is officially set to reprise the role of Wade Wilson for Fox’s solo Deadpool movie and more cast members are being added (T.J. Miller and Ed Skrein so far), GlobalNews.ca has reported that filming is scheduled for late March in Vancouver, Canada.
According to GlobalNews.ca “the movie has booked two months at Vancouver’s North Shore Studios, although it isn’t known if the production will shoot in any other locations around the city.”
20th Century Fox will shoot X-Men: Apocalypse in Montreal, so this doesn’t seem to be a stretch. More importantly, this means more casting news should be coming very soon.
The report also noted that “Toronto is playing host this summer to production of the Suicide Squad movie (aka Bravo 14), starring Will Smith and Jared Leto. It will be directed by David Ayer (Fury)…NBC is also filming the series Heroes Reborn, starring Zachary Levi, in Toronto this year.”
Deadpool will be directed by Tim Miller and released in February 12, 2016.
