Russian PM Vladimir Putin calls out US aid to Syrian rebels asking why America sides with cannibals

“Don’t arm people that eat people” began The Jewish Voice article covering the recent statements by Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

“I think you will not deny that one does not really need to support the people who not only kill their enemies, but open up their bodies, eat their intestines, in front of the public and cameras,” Putin said at a joint press conference in London with British Prime Minister David Cameron.

Putin was referring to video footage posted on the Internet last month of a rebel fighter eating the heart of a government soldier.

“Is it them who you want to supply with weapons?” he said, adding that this behavior does not correspond with international humanitarian norms.

Russia has come under scrutiny for assisting the Assad regime.

“We think this delivery is a stabilizing factor and that such steps in many ways restrain some hotheads from exploring scenarios in which this conflict could be given an international character with participation of outside forces,” Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said at the time.

Putin’s comments mark the first time that he has publicly responded to a decision by the United States last week to provide arms for the rebels fighting to oust Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad.

“The Americans tried to present us with information on the use of chemical weapons by the regime, but frankly we thought that it was not convincing,” an aide to Putin, Yury Ushakov, said, according to the aforementioned report.

AS I HAVE TYPED BEFORE, I HAVE BECOME FASCINATED WITH A WEBSITE WHICH PROVIDES VIDEO-CLIPS OF BEHEADINGS, GUNSHOTS-TO-THE-HEAD, ETC. I SAW THE UNCENSORED VIDEO-CLIP OF THE SYRIAN REBEL TAKING A BITE OUT-OF THE Assad soldier’s heart.

WOW! FOR RUSSIA’S Vladimir Putin TO PUBLICALLY RIDICULE UNITED STATES IN THE PRESENCE OF AMERICA’S MOST-TRUSTED [AND, FAMILIAL] ALLY (GREAT BRITAIN) IS A BIG DEAL. IT SEEMS UNITED STATES IS SO FOCUSED ON PLIGHTS IN THE MIDDLE-EAST, IT IS IGNORING A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS FOE.
