Russian authorities searching for 2 remaining members of Pussy Riot

Only days after three members of the Russian punk group Pussy Riot were convicted of “hooliganism” for an anti-government protest, police are looking for two more members of the group who also participated but got away, RIA Novosti reports.

Members of the all-female punk group wore hoods in February when they rushed to the altar at Christ the Savior Cathedral in Moscow and sang a profane “hymn” against corruption and Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

Yekaterina Samutsevich, 30, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, 22, and Maria Alyokhina, 24, were sentenced Friday to two years in prison.

“The criminal case is ongoing and a search is underway,” an Interior Ministry spokesperson tells RIA Novosti.

In Moscow, more than 50 people — including former chess world champion Garry Kasparov — were detained in a protests outside the court last week, the Associated Press reports.
