Russia undecided on releasing 20K Hillary Clinton emails from hack

Reports are widespread that Russia is debating whether to release the 20,000 emails they have hacked off of Hillary Clinton’s server. The includes information as far back as 2011, but specifically 2013 data from the private computer of Secretary Clinton.

The Kremlin was monitoring Romanian computer hacker Marcel Lazăr Lehel (aka Guccifer) after he unsuccessfully attempted to break into the RT television network computer system. Guccifer not only broke into Clinton’s server, but also copied all of its contents as well.

Shortly after Russia obtained Clinton’s emails, they released a limited amount to RT TV which were published in an article in March 2013, titled Hillary Clinton’s ‘hacked’ Benghazi emails: FULL RELEASE.

Now the US questioned Guccifer in relationship to this incident and new reports have come out noting the Guccifer hack as well as the data dump to Russia. Guccifer told FOX News last week that he hacked Hillary’s home brew server and so did at least 10 others.

Judge Andrew Napolitano told Megyn Kelly on Monday that “There’s a debate going on in the Kremlin between the Foreign Ministry and the Intelligence Services about whether they should release the 20,000 of Mrs. Clinton’s emails that they have hacked into.”

Moreover, now emails related Clinton’s top information staffer, Bryan Pagliano, who set up Clinton’s “home brew” email server in 2009, are missing.

“The Department has searched for Mr. Pagliano’s email PST file and has not located one that covers the time period of Secretary Clinton’s tenure,” State Department spokesman Elizabeth Trudeau said Monday, ABC News reported.

The Justice Department granted Mr. Pagliano immunity for participating in its investigation, but a FOIA request-turned lawsuit by the Republican National Committee should have produced documents.

“It’s hard to believe that an IT staffer who set up Hillary Clinton’s reckless email server never sent or received a single work-related email in the four years he worked at the State Department,” RNC Deputy Communications Director, Raj Shah, said in a statement to the network.
