Roger Moore critical of new Bond film, ‘long disjointed commercial’
Sir Roger Moore has criticized Daniel Craig’s last James Bond movie, declaring it to be nothing more than an over-long commercial.
“I didn’t like the last Bond film, it was like a long, disjointed commercial.”
In a speech to students at the Cambridge Union, Roger also revealed could not understand Sean Connery’s Scottish accent. He said: “Sean is a good actor, it’s a pity I can’t understand what he’s saying.”
Moore last played Bond in 1985’s A View To A Kill and said the best thing about playing 007 for 12 years was “being paid on Fridays”.
He added his “favorite Bond girl” was his fourth wife Kristina Tholstrup, 71, a Danish-Swedish millionaire who was in the audience.
