Robert Rodriguez confirms Bruce Willis for ‘Sin City A Dame to Kill For’

Robert Rodriguez updated fans on the “Sin City” while at Sundance this weekend. Talking with MTV the director confirms the return of Bruce Willis as Hartigan for “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.”

“The only story we’ve shot is the intro story, that’s completely done,” said Rodriguez. “The other ones we’ve just sort of been piecemealing,shootingas theactorsbecome available. All three stories have a little bit of footage to be shot.”

Dame character (Ava Lord) has yet to be cast. But an actress will be announced within the next two weeks.

Rodriguez continued: “[Joseph Gordon-Levitt] plays a gambler. A very cocky gambler that comes in and tries to beat the biggest villain in Sin City at his own game. The story is called ‘The Long Bad Night.’ He beats the wrong guy at a game… bad stuff happens to him.”

Ray Liotta, Juno Temple and Jeremy Piven recently joined the all-star cast Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Josh Brolin.

“Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” hits theaters on October 4, 2013.
