Rev Wayne Robinson uses Christian faith to attack Donald Trump, show support for Hillary Clinton
A new political ad featuring Reverend Dr. Wayne Robinson from Florida launches Monday as Trump holds a rally at Germain Arena. Dr. Robinson is the founding minister of All Faiths Unitarian Congregation in Fort Myers, Florida. In the ad, Dr. Robinson endorses Hillary Clinton, saying:
“For someone who comes out the Christian tradition, I’m appalled with the candidacy of Donald Trump. I watched all the debates, and the misogyny, the racism, is the opposite of what Jesus said… As a member of the faith community, I’m voting for Hillary Clinton.”
Robinson spoke to local TV channels and reached out through social media channels to voice opposition against Trump. Check out the new ad below.
The ad is produced and paid for by Local Voices, a Democratic Super PAC made up of documentary filmmakers creating political ads. Dr. Robinson’s ad was directed and produced by Heidi Ewing, director of NORMAN LEAR: JUST ANOTHER VERSION OF YOU and JESUS CAMP.
