Repticon Tampa: Florida weather can’t stall popular exotic animal and reptile show

Repticon Tampa, one of the largest shows in the nationwide Repticon reptile and exotic animal show series, returned this past weekend at the Florida State Fairgrounds with crowds who braved the inclement Florida weather of the season to indulge their reptile enthusiasm.

They were not disappointed. Animal lovers found new friends among thousands of sociable snakes, lizards, tortoises, frogs, tarantulas, and even a tame lemur was spotted in the crowd.

Both adults and children enjoyed discovering new pets, sprucing up their habitats at home, and learning more about this unique hobby through animal-care seminars.

Many guests also brought their own amazing friends with them, from pythons and boas to tegu lizards and docile iguanas. There was no shortage of slithering sights for both novice and experts to enjoy.
