Pretty Reckless, Chevelle, Avenged Sevenfold top Rock chart, coming to 98 RockFest

98 RockFest acts Pretty Reckless and Chevelle, who occupy Number One and number two, respectively, and headliner Avenged Sevenfold who ranks at number five and twelve, help dominate the top of this week’s 50-Position Active Rock Chart. Fellow rockers Volbeat, whose highest ranked hit this week rises to number four, has five songs on this weeks Top 50. All four of these acts, and many more, will play at 98 RockFest 2014, scheduled for Friday, April 25, at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

Pretty Reckless’ audience gain earns band fifth week at Number One

Though It appeared last week Pretty Reckless’ “Heaven Knows” would be overtaken by Chevelle or Linkin Park, the song makes a small gain in audience to remain at Number One for a fifth week. This week, “Heaven Knows” gains 240,000 impressions to finish the week with 6.071 million.

Chevelle’s “Take Out The Gunman” makes a bigger gain than “Heaven Knows”, 588,000, enough to be Greatest Gainer # 4, but the band still comes up short with 5.833 million impressions. Meanwhile, Linkin Park picks up 703,000 impressions, enough to claim the Greatest Gainer #2 award, but stays stuck at number three with 5.522 million. Given the trends this week, it seems likely either Chevelle or Linkin Park will replace Pretty Reckless on this week’s upcoming chart.
