Pierce Brosnan daughter, Charlotte, dies from ovarian cancer at age 41
Condemning cancer as a “wretched disease,” Pierce Brosnan, now age 60, has shared the news that his daughter Charlotte has died of ovarian cancer.

In a statement to People magazine, the former James Bond star says: “On June 28 at 2 p.m. my darling daughter Charlotte Emily passed on to eternal life, having succumbed to ovarian cancer. She was surrounded by her husband Alex, children Isabella and Lucas and brothers Christopher and Sean.”
He goes on to say, “Charlotte fought her cancer with grace and humanity, courage and dignity. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our beautiful dear girl. We pray for her and that the cure for this wretched disease will be close at hand soon.”
He added thanks for the “heartfelt condolences.”
Charlotte was Brosnan’s daughter from his marriage to Cassandra Harris, a former Bond girl he married in 1980.
He adopted Charlotte and her brother, Christopher, after their father died in 1986. Cassandra died in 1991, also succumbing to ovarian cancer. Charlotte’s grandmother, also died from ovarian cancer.
