Philippines earthquake death toll eclipses 100, celebrities respond on Facebook
The latest numbers from the massive Bohol, Philippines earthquake yesterday shows the death toll reaching at least 110, according to a CBS News report.
According to the report, in Bohol, the quake’s epicenter, rescuers counted 100 dead, said regional military commander Lt. Gen. Roy Deveraturda. Cebu reported nine fatalities, and one died on another island.
The major 7.2- magnitude tremor occurred Tuesday morning in the Philippine province toppling buildings,destroying roads, bridges and some historic, centuries-old churches received some serious damage.
In addition, untold numbers of people have been displaced and citizens on Bohol have been living without power.

The star of the Philippine daytime drama, “Be Careful with my Heart”, Jodi Sta. Maria, simply said, “Pray For The Philippines” and posted photos and artwork related to the tragedy.
