Pennsylvania vegan Delinda Jensen apologizes for her hate speech, mocking Vegas shooting victims

The Mother Nature Vegan Cuisine food truck is no more and its owner, Delinda Jensen finds herself in the middle of a firestorm for her hateful comments about the people killed in the Las Vegas massacre. Now Jensen is learning how angry and vindictive the “mob” can become.

“It seems like a lynch mob is forming,” Delinda Jensen told The Times Leader newspaper, “It’s seems that it’s no longer about the Facebook post — now it’s about eating meat.”

Jensen doesn’t deny what she wrote on Facebook, telling the paper that she is now living in fear for her life after receiving death threats.

“I (expletive) up,” Jensen said while sitting at her kitchen table with son and business partner, Kyle, 28. “Was it poorly written? Absolutely. Do I regret it? Yes. I am so sorry I wrote that.

Jensen’s post went viral on Facebook, generating hundreds of hate-filled comments and threats.

“Meat eaters or not, no one deserves to die like that,” Jensen said. “I wasn’t celebrating the death of those people. That’s not how vegans think — we are non-violent.”

Jensen’s Monday post to Facebook: “Yes I am jaded. Fifty nine meat eaters dead. How many animals will live because of this?” Under her post, Jensen eventually commented: “I don’t give a fuck about carnists anymore,” confirmed by a screenshot published by Metro.

Stephen Paddock killed himself in what was deemed the worst mass shooting in modern US history, killing 58 people dead and 489 wounded.

During her apology she discussed the abuse and torture of animals and repeated how “There’s just so much visceral hate out there,” she said.

“This was our life and now it’s gone,” she said. “I’m so scared to go out anywhere.”

  1. Sick Of The Hate says:

I agree, there’s a lot of hate out there – she proved that she’s full of hate by the horrible thing she said about 58 innocent people who were murdered. She won’t even admit that it’s not the backlash that ruined her business – she did that all by herself when she posted that comment.
